I am standing on one of the largest Caribbean islands off the coast of Miami, known for its laid back lifestyle. The town I am in was ‘discovered’ in the 1970’s, yet it is still considered an up-and-coming popular tourist destination. In the late 1960’s, the only accommodation in this town was one house called Llandtrissant. There was nothing more than a lighthouse to guide ships around the rocky western coast and the population was mostly land crabs.
