This luxurious hotel is a welcome respite in Aguas Calientes, Peru: “The Gateway to Machu Picchu.”  Located just outside of the center and next to the Urumbamba River, the roaring sound of the current will lull you to sleep.

Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel has only been opened for eight months (since August ’07), and is already the top hotel in Aguas Calientes on Trip Advisor.  The helpful staff will arrange entry tickets to Machu Picchu for you, have the bus stop to pick you up in the morning, arrange for your luggage to be dropped off at the train before your departure time, and whatever else you may need. It is a winning spot with fantastic gastronomy and an excellent choice in Aguas Calientes.
